Pack Farms Pumpkin Patch — Farmington, UT

There are so many fun things to do in Utah in the fall. One obvious must-do is pumpkin picking. At the Pack Farms pumpkin patch in Farmington you can go out into the field and cut your pumpkins right off the vine (or they can do it for you). Pack Farms also has a children’s corn maze, a hay maze, and a fun scarecrow gallery.
When we went the first weekend of October, Pack Farms was just gearing up for the season. They were in the middle of assembling the hay maze, but let us take our daughter through in a little pumpkin cart. The carts are available to take into the fields to gather your pumpkins. After we chose our pumpkins, we went inside to the scarecrow gallery, home of Old Man Tumbleweed, and great for photo opps. There was also a selection of little ornamental pumpkins and squashes for sale, and for some reason our baby was fascinated by them.
Pack Farms isn’t big like Thanksgiving Point or even Black Island Farms, but it’s fall family fun at it’s best (and it’s always nice to support local farms).
Pack Farms is located at 1700 West Glovers Lane in Farmington. The farm is open to the public Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (or until dark).
Pumpkins are charged by the pound. Bring cash, wear closed shoes to venture into the fields, and don’t forget your camera!

i like tumbleweed he is my favorite thing about the pumpkin patch. he’s so funny. I would be so sad if they closed tumbleweed down, so please dont close him down. see ya soon tumbleweed.
Good description, with just a few slight errors.
First off, it’s not Big Springs National Park. Just park. Second, it’s not closed in the winter. It’s a very popular trail from cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. So it’s beautiful in the summer, as you’ve described very well, but also a wonderful place to go in the winter, too.
